Mugdha Godse is making her presence felt in the tinsel town. She got critical acclaim for ‘Fashion’ and then delivered a hit with ‘All The Best’ and now she is ready once again with another project, this time a horror movie titled ‘Help’ opposite Bobby Deol. Directed by debutant director Rajeev Virani and produced by Sanjay Ahluwalia, the movie was shot in Mauritius.

Mugdha, too, is excited to be a part of a horror flick. She says, “I have done glamorous roles and de-glam roles in the past. But this is like a role of a lifetime and I had to prepare real hard. My character had to be really authenticated and to admit, it was a painful experience too. Then the makeup was such that it gave me jitters. The prosthetic makeup has been done by Vikram Gaikwad, who has done makeup for films like 3 Idiots, Kaminey, Ishqiya, Delhi 6, etc.’’

News has it that the ‘sexy’ actress, considered to be the hottest in the industry with a lot of moolahs riding on her, backed out from Sanjay Gadhvi’s upcoming ‘Seven Days in Paris’ at the last minute.
According to the latest news, Kat baby showed her enthusiasm about working with chocolate boy Imran Khan, got script reworked then showed her tongue at it all. A source revealed, "Kat was excited to be paired opposite Imran for this romantic film. But she had some issues with the script and had told writer-director Gadhvi to make some changes.
Gadhvi complied but Kat wasn`t satisfied and she opted out of the project."

The source further added, "Gadhvi approached Kareena next, but for some reason that didn`t happen either. Asin was the next choice. Talks are on and a confirmation is expected to follow shortly."

One of the reasons for Katrina to back out, may be the failure of Imran’s ‘Kidnap’ at the Box Office. Or may be beau Salman has to do something with the last minute change of mind of his ‘sweetheart’.

After the success of 'Partner', Lara Dutta is on a fast track now. There's a new determination in her to overcome her inhibitions, whatever they might be worth. And the first one is overcoming the fear of diving underwater.

While she prepares to do her first ever avant-garde film 'Devdas' with Sudhir Mishra, in which she intends to change her entire image and get-up to play a modern-day Paro, in a new sporty film entitled 'Blue', Lara has gone several steps further.

She has actually managed to overcome her fear of the underwater to do some serious scuba diving with the ever-sporty Akshay Kumar.

For years now, Lara has been petrified of taking the plunge. Akshay urged her to not only accept a film that needed her to go against her ingrained fears, but also helped her out of the dive-despair.

Laughing throatily, Lara admits she has gotten over a lifelong fear.

'But I can't speak about what it is. Yes, Akshay's natural sporty spirit is contagious. And it helped me take the plunge.'

She reminisces fondly about Akshay.

'He was my first co-star in 'Andaaz' and was very helpful. Then we did 'Bhagam Bhaag' when he was fully into comedy. I didn't know I had a comic streak in me until then. Now that he's returning to action, I'm also moving on from comedy to big time action.'

It was an event that was (eagerly) waiting to happen! We are indeed talking about the Sanjay Dutt-Manyata wedding. After days of speculation about their wedding, Dutt ultimately silenced everyone by tying the knot with Manyata, his girlfriend of two years, under the Special Marriage Act, 1954, in front of a few close friends as witnesses. The location chosen was The Taj Exotica Hotel in Goa. The marriage ceremony took place even as Dutt was shooting in Goa for EMI, which is being made under Sunil Shetty's Popcorn Entertainment productions.

There is news that “Ramayana” will be portrayed on the Hollywood screen.

The brain behind this fascination is Ashok Banker whose love for mythology led him to take on such determination of portraying “Ramayana” on the Hollywood screen.

Talks about the production of this movie have been going on since 2006 , and a major Hollywood production studio is backing it.

When asked about the cast and crew for his movie Banker says, “Some major names — both from Hollywood and Bollywood — are expected to be part of it. I’ve no idea if Nicole would be in it, though personally, I think she’ll make a great Surpanakha. Even Daniel Craig’s agent has called up to say that he’d be interested. And, if I had my way, I’d like him to do Ravana, since he has a very brutish and a very powerful presence. Actually, I’d want the baddies to be played by Westerners and Indians to play the ‘human’ ones” .

Indian spectators on the other hand find Ash-Abhi to be the ideal couple for the role of Sita and Ram. Ravana, they say will be best portrayed by King Khan –Sharukh.

It seems to be the most awaited picture of the year.
